These photos were shot and scanned the same way as the last test, except they were shot at EV 0 so I had to boost the levels 25% in Photoshop. Once again, the Tokina held its own very well, with less chroma than the last example. Color and contrast seem nearly identical. The lowest 10-20% of each foreground (in shadows) is clearly sharper in the Nikon scan. This could be a result of overall quality, Zoom vs Prime charactersitics, Nikon's Close Range Correction, or focal point (although I tried to match to focal point). Take a look...
